Wreckless Abandon

Normally I like to give you as much background and history on the buildings as I can without divulging their locations, but I have scoured the internet for *hours* and have pretty much come up dry. This location is a former psychiatric hospital that opened in the 1870′s (from what I can find) and closed around 2006. That’s really all I’ve got for now, so I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Yep…that’s a coffin alright…

The rest of the coffins were in the basement, which was as dark as you’d expect it to be. I didn’t have a tripod or flash with me so we had to light them with our trusty maglites.

This was, by far, the smallest of the holes in the floor.
